KALA

I'm flying out to start a one month artist residency at an old ketchup factory in Berkeley, CA. I'm cutting down paper and packing today.  I'll post what I do & make. Hoping for a productive month! I'm going to try to go to the Somarts Cultural Center. They have a book event with dance installations opening the day I get there that looks really exciting.

2.25 International Print Exchange

Included in a print exchange organized by Candace Nicol at Oxboo Press in Reno, NV.
2.25 refers to the  tiny paper size. See the prints here. My screen prints are on handmade paper. I made the paper with Claire Lacy in her family paper studio.

EARS

Finally started a group of prints commissioned by Waterford Hearing Center.   They are relief surface screen prints rubbed with oil paints and wax medium.  Each is unique because of the handmade process. I did a run of 10 prints and I have only colored 3 so far. Work in progress... I wanted the colors to look like earwax but I might try a few different hues.
